Zaheer, Prasad (at his best), even Pathan are better.. Amarnath ?

prabhakar has performed more consistently than any of these guys....when he was playing....prasad was notoriously inconsistent(and his exceptional performances were just that, exceptions to the rule....), zaheer is injured every other match and in any case hasn't done enough to get into such a team and pathan is so much a newbie that suggesting his name for such a team right now is just ridiculous. i know he is tainted by the match-fixing scandal and i personally despise the character, but no one can deny that he was one of the better new ball partners for kapil till srinath came into the scene.....

Nobody is saying he wasn't our best keeper. But nobody thinks he should be in the team anymore. His time is over, shed a few tears(well flood the house if you like), and let it go, he won't make it into the team again.

I know he won't. But that doesn't necessarily mean he's not worthy enough to be in the team again.

i wouldnt classify him as anywhere near elite.....
