He has been dropped for the on going test match. Ashwin has played more than Yasir in SENA so it is not as if he is dropped that often.

It would be expected that Ashwin has played more in SENA though given Saeed Ajmal kept Yasir out of the Pakistan side for a number of years.

True. There are cases when Ashwin got injured and he was replaced by Jadeja. Ashwin has played about 80% of the matches in SENA when he was available. Jadeja is the no. 1 choice now though.
Neither Ashwin nor Jadeja have great records in SENA (Averages in early 40s). Yasir has been objectively worse though.
