Nobody always tore Murali. What's wrong with you? Even Sehwag would've been undone once in a blue moon by a spinner or two, it happens.

Sure but Sehwag was more audacious generally against spinners from the outset.

I recall Sehwag getting out to spinners more due to his own undoing playing risky hoicks than struggling picking them.

When the Indian lineup played Mendis as a mystery spinner in 2008 I don't recall Sehwag being as fazed as the others. But you can correct me.

that's undoable, even Sehwag is not doing it when he was fresh at crease, what matters is he always survived the initial Murali barrage then took him apart, thus has Bradman esque numbers against him, and really that's all that matters.

Ok. I think it's fine to give some deterrence to Murali that he could command Lara's respect through his variations when he came to the crease, even if he got eventually decoded and destroyed.

The problem with you subz is literally every other maestro of spin has had their moments where they've had to be cautious, gotten beaten in flight, got dismissed etc. Why not post their highlights? Oh that's right becauee you only have an issue with Lara.

Because if you havent been following this thread and others, there are several posters who resent anyone questioning Lara as anything less than top against spin.

The same folk usually sidestep his pace weakness too.

Yeah so I am arguing why he is below Sehwag based on these reasons since the consensus is either Lara or Sehwag. I still have obviously Lara in the top rung.
