Don't know about the 'bastard' part, but Mike Procter was probably the best fast bowler of all-time among the 'fat' ones. While I'm at it.

Can someone help me with another opening bowler?

ha ha well ok...good to know...Fat Bastard is just a common description weldone, not saying anything about his personality!
You could always call up Tim Robinson for a bit of cheeky mullet action.Mullet Hairdo XI
Not all big beefy mutant mullets but rest assured - all had one at some time in their career... Always thought the short mullet a'la Bruce Reid was just as ordinary on the eyes... Note: this is not a "big hair" XI or the likes of Imran/Lillee would walk straight in.
Sorry about the Australian bias. And I struggled to think of well known opening batsmen...
Not a bad side all the same and no surprise that they mostly played in the fashion decade of shame

Probably emanates from Austin Powers. And the bastard bit not to be taken literally.Fat Bastard is just a common description weldone, not saying anything about his personality!
Possibly my all time favourite cricketing sledge, that one.Jimmy Ormond, definitely fond of beer and pies, but was the best player in his family

WTF........Please. For God's sake. Do not insult the Pakistan wicket keeping tradition. We have had decent keepers in the past such as Imtiaz Ahmed, Bari, Latif, and Moin Khan. How come Akmal is the keeper in the Pakistan all time XI??? And who is the Khan in the reserves??? Majid Khan, Mohsin Khan, Shahid Khan, Sohail Khan?????I have compiled my team and squad for each of the top 7 test sides. I gave myself the challenge of picking a batting and bowling reserve for each country.
