You'll Never Walk Alone
Have a fantastic finish to my OD Competition. There's a decent chance that I'll only lose two for the season, and still finish third.

I play fourth today, then first next week, I'm currently lodged firmly in that third place. Excited though!

2nd last game was against another bot unfortunately:

MMT: 21/10 (Winner 5, Bomani 5; Andre 6/9, Mabudhafhasi 4/12)
Coco's Nuts: 22/0 (Duncan 11*, Strydom 9*)

Last game is against a non-bot team and they're decent so it'll be a nice way to end the season...unless I lose of course. Need to win it to stay above the automatic promotion line and get handed a bucket full of arse-whippings next season. I have to go up though as it seems Haffy CC has another good young batsman coming through and I want to leave the league having beaten him last start

Batting first against the top team in my league. Decided to shuffle my order to my best bats were at 6 and 7, to avoid them getting out early to gun bowlers.

End of Over 31: 138-5, runrate=4.45
Hyde 9-0-37-0
Wilberforce* 71 (73 balls)
Dhindsa 62 (82 balls)
Last Wicket: Siyabonga c. Tweed b. Wilde 2 (FOW: 7/5)

What div are you in, and Coco, what div are you in?

I'm in Div. 5. Usually there are 1 or 2 bots in the league, but this season we have 4 + a really weak team with a manager. There are only 3 of us that are decent. So that means 4 games out of the whole season for me that are challenging, the rest are either run-scoring or wicket-taking feasts...or both.

Hopefully next season I'll go up, I'm in line for automatic promotion so I just have to win next week, which should happen. I'm not sure if I have the depth or ability to go up but it's better than staying with 3 or 4 bots and having a boring season I suppose.

I'm unsure whether to camp and try to throw my promotion match, or go up. Hopefully, if I do go up, I get a **** league.

Quietly been managing a Battrick team during the season.

Currently sitting in 3rd in OD and 4th in FC. Never aimed to achieve promotion in my first season, just look to establish a solid training routine, work towards the magic 1.6M cash mark, unearth some quality young players.

Very happy with how my team is progressing. Made the mistake in a previous Battrick game of not establishing a good training plan (i.e. training too many players, achieving promotion too early (and suffering a nasty whipping at the next level).

Next season will be crucial in developing a new trainee, replacing some of my 30 year old Med/Med players, possibly looking at promotion in one league.

You are joking, right?
I wouldn't bother taking even the small amount of time it would take to invent those scores Jake.

That's the result, you smashed them.

Just realised what a joke the rankings system can be in Battrick too...I'm ranked above the team the Tawonga Tigers are playing today (825 in Australia to his 942; 3571 in the world to 4038) yet he'd whip me from pillar to post.
