I think nibbs has the upper hand at the moment, 8 an over is pretty easy to get in the last 10 overs. Not exactly looking forward to playing either of you next week though...

Duggan 104 (81 balls)
Whenuapai only need 83 runs more to win in the final 10. I dont think i could stop them unless if Westhead produces a miracle...

Big win in the end by Whenupai, I looked troubled early on but Gray hit 82* (102), ably assisted by Wolfenden 54 (74) and Tebogo 34* (27).

VCC 0/8 from 2 chasing 243 against Boggles.

Disappointed to see that Hoy didn't accept his challenge for the 'make-up' match...

Game over I reckon and with it my reign.

I'm not sure what happened that my prof, resp, prof, comp, comp batting lineup managed to go 9/5 when all are on normal or attacking but I can't complain. I've just been rolled!

Chanderpaul held the innings together from start to finish to end up on 115*!

i'm happy with my victory. can't believe we won with 20 balls to spare but... duggan proving that he is capable in pressure situations.

Things were improving until this happened:

Code:
End of Over 37: 162-4, runrate=4.38, reqrunrate=6.23 (242-10)
Sekani	9-0-62-1
Baldwin*	55 (53 balls)
Easton	7 (11 balls)
Last Wicket: Watkiss b. Liyanage 0 (FOW: 127/4)
36.6 1	Sekani to Baldwin
Over the infield to long off.
36.5 4	Sekani to Baldwin
That one's far too short and Baldwin pulls it easily to the square leg boundary for four.
36.4 4	Sekani to Baldwin
He's had a go at that one, he's got a lot of edge on it and it's gone flying away to third man for four past the diving fielder.
And that's his fifty! Well played.
36.3 4	Sekani to Baldwin
A solid drive screams away wide of long on. Pure timing.
36.2 4	Sekani to Baldwin
Full delivery, picked up over the umpire and long on chasing in vain.
36.1 .	Sekani to Baldwin
The ball shoots off the surface and through to Ahmed. The stump microphone picks up Ahmed muttering 'My Precious' as he takes the ball... come to think of it there is something of the Gollum about him!

Followed by 9 off the over, then two off the over.

Then a wicket inside a 9 run over. :(

Getting tight now.

181/6 with RRR 6.9.

And I have to go to church in 10.

What a win, coming back from 5/9. Seems like all 3 winners so far looked to be in trouble (Me - 3/51 with an RR below 4, Nibbs - 2 down, RRR of close to 8, PY - 5/9, made 242, VCC looked like cruising until some inspired bowling)

It's a good total to chase but Marc has a really good bowling attack, so we'll see.
I made a mistake I think in not picking my new good spinner - instead selecting 1 too many pacers.

Oh well, you deserved the win.

Ye great game nibbs i didnt really think id have a chance of getting that close of causing an upset against you. The weakness of my side is pretty obvious but next season im planning to make a change to that... i hope.

Had a reasonably comfortable win over Bushpigs. Made 341-5 on a cracked pitch and bowled them out for 122. Wynand's hit a purple patch lately, scored 168* off 146, and in the two matches previous to that scored 185 and 197*, all three innings on a cracked pitch. Malik was the pick of the bowlers for me with 4-18.

Not an entirely convincing performance though, I can afford to play Cuss next week and I think I might have to if I'm going to beat brenoevo, since he'll be the home team (I think?).
