Battle of the World Cup stars

Steulen

International Regular
Earth calling Norway...hello....hello?

Being the best player has got nothing to do with it, players are in this because they are either A) World Cup legends, or B) English.

You can't argue with Fontaine being a World Cup legend.

Magrat Garlick

Rather Mad Witch
Well, no, but he was the star of 1962 - and had two assists in the 1958 final.

Fontaine scored mainly meaningless goals (Four in a third place play-off ffs.) for an inferior team. He's a name in the record books more than a legend imo.

BoyBrumby

Englishman
Ha, you wait all comp for a casting vote and then two come along at once. Locked up at 6-6, so my decider goes to Garrincha. Make a point of never voting against illiterate alcoholics who've buggered a goat.
