Battle of the Test Innings

I'll go McCabe. It's a fifty-fifty call for mine & I think it deserves more than just the one vote. Possibly the best innings in a losing cause & certainly the bravest.

Man it doesn't get any easier.

I think I'm going to give it to BC Lara tho, an absolutely magnificent effort to drag an ailing Windies over the line against the world champion team.

Tough draw for Hanif i though this innings deserved a semi final spot but seeing is believing and i saw Lara's knock and that was absolutley unbelievable.

Lara wins it 13-1.

Here are the best four innings of all time, as voted on by you:

Brian Lara 153* v Australia, 1999
Don Bradman 334 v England, 1930
VVS Laxman 281 v Australia, 2001
Graham Gooch 154* v West Indies, 1991

First battle of the semi-finals:

Brian Lara 153* v Australia, 1999

PS. Once we get to the finals, I am looking for someone to write like a three-four paragraph piece on both of the innings. The background, what it meant, how it was done, etc. Anyone interested?
