This is very very very tough. Really good final. As far as their contributions to cricket and ability are concerned, they're both on par for me, but I'll vote for the one who performed during a World Cup final :ph34r:

The best two got to the Final (doesn't always happen) but I vote Imran for his captaincy - Pakistan could win the World Cup with him as captain - without thim you felt they could lose to anybody.

Too close to call. Imran was a brilliant all-rounder and led his team to World Cup glory.
Then again, if we're considering one-day success Tendulkar was breathtaking. He didn't have the support that Imran had.
I abstain for now.

One thing to think about for people having trouble deciding in this battle, Imran got better with age, in fact prolific. Sachin on the other hand has been getting worse since the last WC.
