Tough one... Ganguly was a great captain and fairly good batsman in test but Gupte from what i've heard was really good and I think SObers said he was the best spinner he ever faced.


I'll go for Gupte.

gupte very under rated in my opinion. would push benaud and laker for the title of best spinner of that era.
