Battle of the Sporting Heroes

PhoenixFire

International Coach
Pele & Abstain.

Really want to vote for Bolt, the bloke is a total freak (in the nicest possible way), but so is Jordan. Impossible to split them in my books.

Pele and Bolt

Pele for reminding me, whenever I see footage of him, of what Robin Friday could have been and Usain Bolt simply for being awesome for what he will do in the future as much as what he has done to date

Pele, just greatness and perfection in the "beautiful game"

Bolt despite worries over his longevity and other, umm, stuff......

Pele
Jordan, because of the different aspects and skills in basketball vs just running really really fast.

Pele, because he played a sport you don't have to, as a general rule, be 6 foot 1000 to be good at. Jordan obviously gun though.

Jono

Virat Kohli (c)
Good final. Along with these two, the other two best to make the semis would have been Ali and Babe Ruth or Woods (in my honest opinion of course).

Anyway, Jordan for me.

Going for MJ.

Pele was from a different era so he was never a true sporting hero of mine. I watched a lot of NBA in the early 90s and Jordan was the man. Great final though. :)
