Battle of the Cricketers

9-4 Trueman. Can I just ask a quick question. Are people less interested in this competition than the original one? As I'm definately not getting as many votes. Not a moan, as much as a thought.]

I am finding this one much harder to choose the better player, so I have abstained from voting (for a couple of clashes).

You would think Imran would win this battle, but I thought Willis carried England for much of his career, so again a draw for me.

If we were just choosing the best cricketer than Khan easy.

Both were lethal on their day, but Imran's peak was an entire period of his career, rather than the odd match. One is terminally underrated and the other far from it, but Imran still gets my vote.

To answer Jamee question, well i think most people are bigger fans of batsmen, so therefore if this was a battle of the batsmen then more people will vote. As seen by the battle of the cricketers where the top 4 were all batsmen. When you get to the later stages maybe more people will start voting, as more popular bowlers are up aganist each other. Both these bowlers are great in ability, but Willis isn't the most popular, interms of fan base around.

Good point...I was actually comparing them as "cricketers" as opposed to "bowlers", but even still I think Imran wins by a decent margin for mine
