The Don is clearly the better batsman but my vote goes to Gavaskar due to the utmost respect that I have for this guy.

Gavaskar is annoying even outside of his cricket. He is the sort of a guy who would ask "why are the five or six batsmen in the team never rested or replaced while the bowlers are rotated at will? Why are those guys the untouchables?" and then go on to sing the praises of Ganguly, Sehwag, Tendulkar, Kaif, Yuvraj and Dravid, who are precisely the men he criticized. Have lost all respect for the man as a cricket selector or admin or anything after the jokes he did with the world XI selection and the Ganguly/Chappell controversy.


So, this is easy. The Don it is.
