Battle of the Cricketers

Ambrose, fairly comfortably imo. Should be in the final against Hadlee, given everyone else who has been knocked out.

Nearly 24 hours & not in any doubt, so I'm going to call it. Curtly triumphs 14-3 to make sure the Windies are represented in the semis.

Next up, the last quarter:

Quarter-final 4

Allan Donald

vs

Imran Khan

BTW, any thoughts on the next series? If there's sufficient enthusiasm, of course. The battle of the spinners is the obvious sequel, but I'm a tad concerned it might go down the usual "He's a chucker", "He's a drugs cheat" route...

Going against the grain it would seem but sorry Imran. Allan Donald was one of my favourite cricketers growing up, so AD gets my vote.

Wait, is this just bowling, or the overall cricketer? If its the latter, then its not even a contest. If its the former, then its close but I'd still go Imran (I already voted).

According to Boy Brumby(SP), bowling.

Its just bowling SS, though the title of the thread can be misleading.

Anyway I'm voting Imran.
