Interesting. I didn't know that. I would agree that his action looked questionable to my naked eyes. It might be interesting to see if the degree of flexion of old greats like Larwood & Lindwall could be ascertained from the old stock film of them that is extant.

For the current battle I'll have to go with Hadlee, a true great who had remarkable longevity for a quick. Particularly one with a bum ticker!

Sir Richard Hadlee - he's definitely the best I've ever seen. Very unfortunate for Holding, as this would have made a magnificent semi (or even final, for that matter).
