Battle of Cricketers - CW's Favorite Cricketer

four_or_six

Cricketer Of The Year
Obviously I can totally understand people thinking Pollock is a better cricketer, but I'm very surprised so many people would put him higher on their 'favourite cricketer' list.

Why? Pollock's in my top 10 favourite cricketers.

The guy is one of the nicest guys in cricket. And what he did for South Africa post-Cronje should never be under-appreciated.

Lumbering them with a tubby blow-hard for a captain for the better part of a decade due to an inability to read a DL formula list is the greatest single achievement in Protean cricket, yes. :p

Was going to clarify my post, but figured no one would be that cold.

Enter Brumby :p

Needless to say I can't imagine what the lockeroom would have been like post-1999/2000 Cronje-gate.

Similar for Ganguly and what he did for India after the Azhurrudin **** went down.

Pollock is like a much more efficient, effective, less exciting version of Chris Cairns. And with red hair. Love him.

Don't know if I can vote for him over Fred though.
