Ideally you'd have Henderson leading off, but I was never expecting to get him. Morgan's got the skill set to be a great leadoff man, just wasn't utilised an awful lot there.

My roster so far:

C: Johnny Bench
1B: Hank Greenberg
2B: Joe Morgan
3B: Mike Schmidt
SS: Arky Vaughan
LF: Stan Musial
CF: Willie Mays

SP: Lefty Grove
SP: Grover Alexander
SP: Randy Johnson
CL: Rollie Fingers

Don Drysdale (SP). I'm surprised that he's lasted this long. One of the nastiest, most intimidating pitchers in baseball history. He took pleasure out of hitting batters and you wouldn't dare take too much of the plate when facing him. Hall of Famer, Cy Young Winner, 8 time All-Star, 3 time World Champion. Nuff said.

Eddie Matthews (3B). Member of the 500 home run club. Ty Cobb said of Mathews: "I've only known three or four perfect swings in my time. This lad has one of them." No need to mention that Cobb's praise in hitting means something.

Fusion's team:

1B Jimmie Foxx
2B Eddie Collins
3B Eddie Matthews
SS Ernie Banks
LF Barry Bonds
CF Tris Speaker

SP Walter Johnson
SP Cy Young
SP Bob Gibson
SP Bob Feller
SP Don Drysdale
CL Dennis Eckersley
