On a scale of 1 to 10 for patriotism, where does the act of 'putting sandpaper inside your underwear for the country' rank?

There was a newspaper article saying that Warner was spotted putting sandpaper in his finger bandages.... it was why Bancroft got given the job for CT. Rather than Warner who normally looks after the ball.
But starting to get into conspiracy theory stuff. Still think Lehmann knew what was going on, and I'm pretty sure Warner (at least) had done it before.
We are going to hear all kinds of stories from all kinds of sources now, aren't we?

This investigation by CA has been absolutely brilliant: it has opened up infinite new possibilities, without closing any of the avenues that existed before the investigation started.

Just waking up now and seeing the news, well played to cricket Australia and as a. Englishman that’s not something I was ever expecting to say. Plenty more to get into but happy with the headlines for now.

Can we all take a minute to just revel in the fact that one of the most scummy sports leagues and sporting bodies in the world has just banned Warner and Smith.

The same organisation that's letting a side banned for fixing back after a couple of years.

Truly amazing.
Haha yeah "even" the IPL gets a chance to occupy the higher moral ground in this matter. Seems like a well and truly open season for HMG hunters.

Im sure it isn't true, but I like the thought that Lehman saved his job by use of the word ****. It implies not just ignorance, but also disapproval, which gives him sufficient moral high ground to avoid the sack.
Truly, a fine application of the principles of justice when the overriding factor is "who most convincingly grabbed the moral high ground at the right time?"

I'm rather irrationally annoyed that Smith will get to protect his average just when it looked like he was entering a genuine slump.
