Over the last 16 months there has been a lot of cricket played and some players have got hot under the collar. Following is a list of how many times a team has been guilty of an offense over this time.

Considering the amount of cricket Australia has played they have done extremely well to play within the spirit of the game, WI have maintained their excellent approach to the game with ENG, SL and SA also maintaining a good record. NZ normally play hard and within the rules so its suprising to see them so high in the list. India and Pakistan really need to clean up their image as the bad boys of cricket. Interestingly Ganguly and Inzi are the main offenders and being captains this has a flow on effect to the rest of the team. As captains they have a job to lead by example and so far both have provided the wrong example.

Only three of Indias 10 are for slow over rates the rest are for obscene language and disputing the umpires decision and Pathan also for physical abuse.

All it shows is that Pakistan and India break the rules far more than any of the other nations. The West Indies, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh also have few match referee issues, as you can see.

some of the excessive appealing decisions against pakistan and india are quiet frankly ridicilous. Even some of the disputing umpires decisions are shocking. If you watch Glen Mcgrath, every time he gets out, he stands there and makes a fuss and shakes his head etc. He gets off every time.

If a pakistani/indian player looks at the umpire in a bewildered way, he gets pinged for disputing the umpire (exaggerating i know)

This is a futile argument.

Yes it does look like bias from a subcontinent player/fans point of view. But it can be exaggerated.

Its much better to accept that showing obvious disagreement to an umpires decision is not acceptable and if a player does it, he should be prepared to get punished. Its no point then saying okay, I did wrong but so did someone else. This doesnt change the fact that he had it coming.

If players took that attitude at least the number of subcontinental players who got the rap would go down.

Although I feel it is necessary to speak out when decisions of such ramifications (6 match ban to the team captain) are made.

if icc was fare macgrath would have been called up by match refrees atleast 25 times by now but i think he has been called only once in upuntill now.

there was a ODI match in india where he was given out wrongly and on his way back he gave a mouthfull to the umpire and he was not even called up by the them match refree
