Copeland a very ITSTL call. I can see the logic, but I think our options in that role (slower seamer type who don't just blast out attacks) are better than you'd think.

Don't really see Fawad as a Test option either.

+ whoever in the first 16 that isn't in the World Cup team and doesn't has a county deal.

(didn't include Bancroft or Worrall as they have county deals, whereas the Maxwells and Marshes of the world will be in the World Cup squad)

I'm sure its just well intended advice and shouldn't be misconstrued as the passive/aggressive pile on that it misleadingly appears to be.

Bambino, I don't really care. He was right if you substituted the word "player" with "fast bowler" in the original post.

I was not and an still not having a go our wanting to start a debate. There's nothing to debate anyway. If Cummins takes six wickets in the next test he's the Australian fast bowler who will reach 100 wickets in less tests than any other since the 19th century.

I don't know what all the fuss is about? I thought it was an unwritten rule that any bowler below 140 kph isn't a real bowler anyway. D K Lillee to forever gold the fast bowler record :)

This is a magnificent post

13 frontline seam bowlers across the two squads, certainly not short on options. Although the with the likelihood of injuries striking at some point it is not a terrible idea

It's Pucovski. With a c, not a k.

I have no idea why it annoys me so much but it really does.
