Not being harsh on him just sees him back in the Test team spraying his crap everywhere.Bit harsh on him after his good figures in the first innings and it is now a spinners pitch.
Could be a good finish if Lions bat positively in the morning and set around 300 to win.
I think he is a fair bit below that now (If I was an Aussie i'd hope so anyway) but still worth keeping an eye on as he is a matchwinner. Also been so long since his last run of first class games he probably needs them. Not being harsh on him just sees him back in the Test team spraying his crap everywhere.
If he was a fair bit below that he wouldn't be playing. He's there because the selectors are still deluding themselves that he can be rehabilitated and turned into a matchwinner. I've never doubted his ability to win a match. It's just who he's helping to win more often than not that I have a problem with.I think he is a fair bit below that now (If I was an Aussie i'd hope so anyway) but still worth keeping an eye on as he is a matchwinner. It takes a very special kind of talent.I just cannot understand how Johnson can be so erratic...
In fairness, Woakes is one hell of a talent.right now, Chris Woakes is averaging more with the bat than every Australian bar Burns, a newbie, and Cowan, our current test opener
