Australian off season domestic 2012/13

NUFAN

pick a winner at the races nufan?
Yes in race 1 and went downhill after that. Seriously unlucky though, spent big (relatively) on the Cup and my horse lost in a photo finish. Actually got 5 second placings in a row and only went each way in one of those races. Ate and drank enough though for it to not be costly.

I think Bailey is the sort of Cricketer who can play 50-60 Tests for Australia averaging 40-44. Surely we'd take that.
Fair 'nuff, just don't see it myself. Agree he's more likely that the Coopers or Forrests, but he just doesn't strike me as a guy who is going to make a mark at the top.

Yeah T20 is his worst format even though he performs at a competent level. He's a quality skipper too so it wasn't the worst decision I've seen by a selector (bring out the Doherty pics if you like).

If he played a decent amount of Tests and averaged more than 35 I'd be very surprised.

NSW have two Shield games in September, then all of October off. For the Sixers in the Champions League T20 I suppose?

Don't like that stuff, or the 8 weeks between games in Dec-Jan.
Don't like no FC at all during the Sri Lanka tests nor between the Saffa Tests and SL.

Do like Blues v Warriors at Blacktown Jan 24-27
Blues v Tigers at Bankstown Sept 26-29.

Not sure about Blues v Bulls at Manuka Nov 27-30

Like the fact we have 2 matches in September, but what are the players for the thunder going to do?
Lost against the Windies Turner tho got 80 and took 5/47,could be a good replacement if Mitch Marsh breaks down again.

I don't see the relationship between the Thunder and NSW

boom tish

they'll start up their grade seasons and net with the coaches

wonder whether the sixers will take cowan with them. would obviously be for the best if he stays here and it's not as if they need him

I have no idea what this sentence says.

Who's Mitch Marsh's potential replacement in the eyes of brockley?

The guy struggles to average over 40 in FC cricket over a long career. What makes you think he would average more in Test cricket.

I could see him do something similar to North and average 40 plus over a short period, then drop back down to mid 30s.
