interesting call if true. i thought his performances last season were over-rated a bit (i guess not bowling until the 12th over doesn't help) but he was overall a pretty consistent player for them (hobart + tassie). i guess if faulker and bird stay there next season he's not needed as much as batting talent is needed

He also only did anything if the opposition were 4 or 5 down by the time he came onto bowl. Anything better, and he got a swabbing.

yeah he (of course) didn't get a contract when most of them got handed out in July and then got one in December or w/ever. presumably hobart will offer him one this time
