I would've preferred having Hauritz play but not bowl at all over Abbott.so we just shifted the collapse from the first innings to the second innings. this is actually a bit worse really
playing abbott over a batsman really looking like a stupid(er) call
Picking Hauritz but refusing to bowl him under any circumstances wouldn't have made much sense at all actually but I think it would've been a better option than what we did.that - and many other things - would have made more sense. guess the plus side is it looks like it'll be an easy 'abbott out, haddin in' for next match, if haddin is still with us.
oh bad light. goodie. maybe we scrap out another draw after losing first innings points
Oh FTR I actually agree that picking Hauritz and bowling him > picking Hauritz and not bowling him > picking Abbott. I was just making the B > C point rather than my usual Hauritz-bashing tbh.did ritz kill your mother or something
did that actually ever happen, serious questionpicking aaron bird as a batsman
Yeah what is going on with him? He is still a good bowler, but the poor bloke can't even buy a wicket atm.Lalor continuing his good start at FC level. Copes though doesn't look like he'll ever get a wicket. I really thought he was going to be a good 'un, but it looks like the batsmen have simply decided they're going to see him off and let him go for 1.5 rpo but still be there for pies at the other end.
Funny call to make considering Nevill jumped over to NSW.well nsw don't pick up other state's slops, so seems fair enough.
He's a handy bowler who could end up being a good No.8. The all rounder talk was always bull**** I reckon. At FC level at least. Can do a job swinging in the short forms. But I just can't see him being a top 6 bat in Tests which is what some of the fan bois are pushing.Mitch Marsh hasn't reached 50 yet this Shield season in 7 innings but he's taken 17 wickets @ 18. Really wasn't what I was expecting of him this season at all...
He's the shiz, Mitch Marsh for 10,000 runs @45+ and 500 wickets @<27 in tests (injuries permitting)Mitch Marsh hasn't reached 50 yet this Shield season in 7 innings but he's taken 17 wickets @ 18. Really wasn't what I was expecting of him this season at all...
