Absolutely this. To adapt to both a completely different style of car, and then to a whole other style of racing with the ovals, that was seriously impressive. Never doubted his talent but I didn't expect this much this soonI don't really follow motorsport, but one hell of an effort from Scott McLaughlin to finish 2nd in the Indycars (behind a fellow Kiwi named Scott, no less) so early in this stage of his career.
All over the SMH website. Will be at the Gabba too, no doubtWorth noting that with Morrison having been at Bathurst today, the echidna wasn't the most painful prick seen on the track.
Huh, didn’t realise there was actually a thread for this lol. What the **** is going on Erebus?
Strictly midfield team. What the **** is going on Erebus?
That's a bit of a meltdown lol
I definitely think Penske as a team have #questionstoanswer over the whole situation there, but to see people questioning McLaughlin's talent due to that (which I did see a little bit of online) is just nonsense. Was glad to see him put in such a top class performanceDunno if anyone else is paying attention to Indycar as wel but sure felt good seeing Scotty Mac dominate after the controversy this week.
Yeah seems very strange to fire him after a broken wrist (imagine if that happened with Danny Ric) and not just keep him on the roster til his recovery. Poor bloke, hope he’s able to grab a drive for next year.I definitely think Penske as a team have #questionstoanswer over the whole situation there, but to see people questioning McLaughlin's talent due to that (which I did see a little bit of online) is just nonsense. Also, not Aus/NZ related, but in other IndyCar news Zak Brown is a knob and David Malukas dererved far better
