He got called up to the Shield side based on his form in a regional WA competition where he was opening the batting with his father, and the old man was actually making more runs.

Murray got suspended for an extended period for smacking the wicket keeper in the head with his bat in the grand final.

Yeah it felt weird that lots of people were doubting him because of his ability against inswing. He's still a 19 year old kid FFS, it's not like it's always going to be an issue.

Yeah 100% he looks well on course going to be genuine gun, but now really isn't the time

He sustains this level of form though and next summer begins to look more and more in reach

Yeah he's good enough to play normal shots to these. But this is a gear I genuinely didn't know he had so I'm not too bothered.

Absolutely agree with this though. That is absolutely an issue that can certainly be overcome. Augers well for him but there has already been some progress since last season
