Not sure if Dhoni and Watson would necessarily feature in an all time best as yet. They both still have some way to go in their respective careers.

What about Faulkner and Walcott? Thats pretty good. Tallon and Grace sounds pretty good as well.

As for the standout, maybe Hobbs and Knott at the moment.

International 12th Man
Sent my list for the next round. I am going on holiday for a week from tommorow so not 100% sure I'll be able to get my bids in. I should be okay though.

As of now, Miller and Gilchrist probably the standout. But given the resources left, I think the team will average out in the end. Hobbs and Knott probably the team with the best benefit to cost ratio at the moment.

10 in so far - still looking for 1 extra to come in though (as nobody's volunteered yet) - if nobody comes forward then we'll be down to 16 members (and those players already drafted become available for nomination again) - if you know someone who may be interested, direct them this way.

Haha, how do you know this mate?

I bet someone who's side is almost level with Hobbs and Knott has spent way less money than me.

they have some way to go, but I am really happy with the sort of players I have.. Like a few others, I am really happy I have gotten my 6 and 7 out of the way... A guy who can bowl 135+ Ks and move the ball both ways and is also a proven batsmen who can either open or bat anywhere in the top 6 and a keeper who is good to both spinners and seamers and a combative batsman and a decent thinker of the game.. I think it is good value for the money I have spent.. :)

Certainly in terms of value for money, Dhoni and Watson are more than decent.

I'm really happy with Russell and Hammond though. One is arguably among the top 4 batsman of all time and has even taken 732 first class wickets (thats new to me actually. I knew him purely for his batting and didn't even know he bowled much lol). The other is one of the more quick handed keepers and occupiers of the crease that England have produced with almost 17K runs in first class cricket. I didn't spend too much for the combination although I suspect that I could have got both for cheaper.
