I am gonna say it's partly that and partly that our bowling is beyond terrible, we barely scraped through even when we were bowling first against your team and let ****ing Hong Kong score 152/5. Our best bowler currently is Bhuvi and while mostly decent he is clearly nowhere near good enough to be the best bowler in a serious team.

Pretty sure Chahal in his career has dropped every single catch coming his way except if they are very simple in which case he drops them anyway.

India with a population of 1.3 B is loosing to an island nation and an arch rival country with a COMBINED population less than India. even if we take the ratios of cricket loving/playing folks of each country and compare it to India (this is being generous as pretty sure every kid on the Indian street plays cricket compared to sri lanka and pakistan) we end up with absolute filth like chahal, kl and bhuvi at the highest level. let that sink in. and this is discounting our failures against new zealand.
