I can't believe I ate the whole thing
Gleeson went from something like 3k wages to 20k, more than half of what my entire wages for last season were (39k).

A comfortable win by Whenuapai CC, who showed their class, especially with a batting masterclass from the man himself, Jason Duggan. Ranjeet showed promise, scoring at over a run-a-ball, but fell for only 57.

Good game kurt, I look forward to next season's installment ;)

My wages have gone over 200k. :(

Some massive increases:

How on earth is your wage bill so low Hakon when you get such good ratings?

Hahaha, nice job with all the players over 10k. Hope you get your money's worth ;)

But yeah, amazing effort by Hakon. 113k! I bet that's not even one of Adam's players...

Prsanna Jeithoon - $21,167 -> $41,180
Sasrutha Muralitharan - $14,757 -> $24,632
Jake Lucas - $6,573 -> $10,722
Mukesh Sishayi - $5,805 -> $9,427
Karl Willetts - $7,381 -> $8,681

$85,497 -> $124,456.

Happy with that. Low wages for me btw are due to average secondaries, but they don't seem to have a massive impact on ratings. Due to fact some main players have decent secondaries, as well as the fact I got decent depth. Also as you see below none of my players have better then average fielding.

One pop to the man:

Code:
Prsanna Jeithoon - 21 yo, BT Rating=69,539
LH Batsman, LFM Bowler, proficient batting form, strong bowling form, energetic
A defensive player with woeful leadership skills and feeble experience.
Stamina: superb Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: abysmal Concentration: competent
Bowling: exquisite Consistency: remarkable
Fielding: [B]respectable[/B]
Jeithoon becomes my best fielder. Should pop in cons next week or the week after.

Not earth-shattering pops, but undeniable progress. I've started to consider fielding more and more important, so I'm happy with these.

Got a former D1 side kaiser chiefs dropping down to my D3. Tharmi reckons they went overboard in rebuilding and now are barely good enough for D2. Still look a class above most D3 sides I've seen. Looks like the top two is out of reachthis season , but should be a good old fashion battle for a Top 4 spot. With the sides that came up decent and a couple of the sides that finished 4th-6th improving. Really looking forward to those battles in ODs.

Got decent D3 side for my cup match, who have a fair bit more depth then me. I'm going to GFI and see what happens. With the new rules with listing players, im hoping to buy a decent proficient seamer to support Schutte, before my cup match. I've been looking for one since the back end of last season. But most guys have just started too high to bid for. Hopefully the new rule makes these guys cheaper, as players start looking at cheap strong-superb and above players and forget the proficients.

In FC I got demoted to D4 and I'm in a league full of bots. 2nd XI all the way this season.

As has just been discussed, it looks like you can't play a friendly in place of a bye. :)
