Having a close match with oz fans XI. We put them into bat and they're 141/3 from 33 overs. Woods still has 5 more to come so I'm hoping he'll tear it up at the death, although he's wicketless so far - Turner took 2 and Talbot got the other.

Reeves 10-0-66-0
Sheepy* 83 (62 balls)
Robertson 12 (13 balls)
Last Wicket: Corniel b. Bunce 148 (FOW: 273/2)
Gun innings from Corniel. Really starting to stand up and show some backbone and batting against a pretty decent side too. Although, the scoreline may not suggest that's the case. Sheepy batting awesomely too. The side were on 170/1 in the 34th over....

Another shocking performance from The Heath against oz fans XI - stumbled to defeat by 78 runs. An absolutely abject batting performance with both Caldwell and Kepler disappointing.

tense times in this Whenuapai Anchormen showdown

Organ 3-1-11-0
Bhutia* 57 (45 balls)

EDIT - Bhutia goes. Its officially Whenuapai's game to lose

Time to ditch this game, I think.

No pops today (n)

Just having a look at the new teams in my OD league, and the competition looks a little strong this season. One of the Auto-promotes is getting feeble ratings so they won't be a problem, but the other is getting Prof/Resp so I won't want to under-estimate them.

I'm not sure about the team thats demoted from Div III, as they were screwed by PFLs last season by the looks of things. Started off with superb ratings, but by the end of the season was only getting resp/prof.

Mullis 4-0-14-0

Duggan 19 (20 balls)

Anchormen's innings was steadied by a timely McMillan knock to see them through to a competitive 247, after Gray and Bhutia both failed to go on and score anything significant. Nice start from Duggan and Lennon.
