Think you need to put in at least two net updates. You have to update the squad and nets each week. When you update nets there's a drop down menu asking which week it is.

Just the one pop. Average first XI stamina up to mid-respectable now, which has certainly paid dividends. Seems to fluff the ratings more than most things, too.

butterfingersXI: 117/4 (34) Turner 3/17

I always have good competitive games with this guy and this is shaping up no differently. After losing Caldwell and Mclean fairly cheaply, Kepler and Kemp put on a 3rd wicket stand of 141 before both fell in relatively quick succession. Read (37) showed some resistance but the middle and lower order fell away to leave us with a total of 248. Turner then reduced butterfingersXI to 44/3, before Roberton (74*) and Heskey (21) put on a 4th wicket stand worth 59. Woods came back for a second spell and managed to make the breakthrough, giving us a good chance of taking a handy first innings lead tomorrow.

End of Over 58 (3 runs). butterfingersXI: 182-5, runrate=3.14

Bourne* 9 (31 balls)
Cresswell 30 (80 balls)
Last Wicket: Roberton b. Turner 103 (FOW: 167/5)

Struggling to make progress today. Turner got the big man but their tail are pretty adept at hanging around.

BARNES OUT
The team I played decided to sneakily play full strength and cost me a days gates. A move he will certainly regret in our return fixture when I bowl him out sub-20 in each innings and win within a day.

Haha, gun.

Have managed to last 3 days with my 2nd XI. Oddly enough we might win.

Rrrrgh, Battrick... Turner (superb/superb) is getting smacked around by an allrounder with a wage of £759. Mind you, it is a cloudy and windy day, so I guess the odds are in his favour... 8-)

Argh! Why do FC bowling orders completely ignore what you set? Liddle and Wilde, both set to do a minimum of 4 overs and a maximum of 8, have both been taken off after just two each, leaving Oleary to get knackered as usual. Yes, they were both running above their maximum economy, but that shouldn't kick in until the MINIMUM number of overs have been bowled. The clue is in the name, Allan. Jeez.

Oh. As I was typing this it's all over, Oleary taking 9-13. Well, that's one way of saving your breath, I suppose. :D

butterfingersXI: 357 (118.5) Turner 5/83
The Heath CC: 131/1 (25) Caldwell 71*, Kepler 53*

Not impressed with BT today, although I suppose it adds to the "fun" of it all. I had them at 228/8, before their no. 7 and no.10 put on 113 for the 9th wicket. Fair enough, their no.10 (75*) is clearly an allrounder that they're training up and has played some good knocks before, although I would expect Turner (superb/superb RF bowler) to get him pretty quickly on a cloudy and windy day. But their no.7 (73 from 172 balls) is at best a resp batsman - most likely comp/comp as he's an allrounder. All of my bowlers are better than that and he still survived for that long. To rub it in, Mclean (prof/resp) fell for a duck against a bowler with a similar wage.

Still, Kepler and Caldwell flayed the bowling around for the rest of the evening sun and with 9 wickets in hand, we ought to be able to see out the draw tomorrow. It's been another topsy-turvy, competitive game so I'm going to take my Scaly hat off and stop complaining

End of Over 81 (2 runs, 1lb). The Heath CC: 344-4, runrate=4.25 (1st Inn: 248-10)
Lead by 235 runs. (butterfingersXI 357-10)

Read 70 (150 balls)
Last Wicket: Kepler b. Newsome 149 (FOW: 304/4)

Good stuff from Kepler and Read today should see us to safety. We're set to declare at 400 which might set up an interesting last session and a half, but the draw is still the most likely result.

Son Of Coco

Cricket Web: All-Time Legend
I think I may have had my best win ever today:

And that's the end of the match. Coco's Nuts won by 7 wickets.
blkbeauties 308-9
Coco's Nuts 309-3

End of Over 48: 309-3, runrate=6.44
Ansell 8-0-53-1
Hutchinson* 112 (93 balls)
Nkosinathi 134 (128 balls)

Chased down 308 with 13 balls to go in an away game on a dry wicket against two spinners who weren't too bad. If one of these guys had gone I was out of batsmen. Makes up for inexplicably getting an absolute flogging in the FC game against a team I've had decent games against before (even if I did leave out 2 good players accidentally). FC is gone so maybe will concentrate on OD games.
