Haha I saw Xingwana and was thinking "WTF M8!". I also lol'd re: Byles.

Moloto* 9 (17 balls)
Harris 42 (41 balls)

Need a big partnership from these 2 otherwise I'm no chance.

Haha I saw Xingwana and was thinking "WTF M8!".

I thought the same thing. Wish my Xingwana was like that though.

Beaumont falls for 48.
Code:
End of Over 31: 140-4, runrate=4.52, reqrunrate=8.00 (291-10)
Windsor	9-0-35-1
Brinkhuys*	16 (33 balls)
Gravey	0 (1 balls)
Last Wicket: Beaumont lbw b. Windsor 48 (FOW: 140/4)
Cant really complain, happy to make this many runs. Anymore would be great, just to get a less of a NRR hit.

Good time to be going to work though, with no possible chance to win, but a huge chance of a massive collapse.

Thinking I'm going to get thumped today. They are 147/1 after 30. Need to restrict them to 200 with my batting lineup.

Not looking too good, 2nd XI bowlers struggling. Need a innings from Lucas later on or we could be stuffed here.

I just realised that I need another stadium upgrade. Would 30k be too steep for a Div.V side? I'll probably lose 3 games at the most this season so I'll have a steady flow of new members(1203 so far). But I probably won't fare so well next season. It's at 16,500 right now.

Kaos Warriors 183 (46.1)
Canning 3/32 (10), Erasmus 2/40 (8), Fernando 2/49 (8.1)

Somewhat annoyed with the batting effort, was around 3.5-3.8 for pretty much all of the innings, but I guess we got there in the end. Special mention to Potgieter for his 0/15 off 10 overs to keep the pressure on.

Spin Bowling: strong superb

30k is too much for mine. My ground was 25k, I lost one OD game last season and only one game in FC and was sometimes not filling it.

Very much doubt you'd sell it out with that number of members. The usual rule of thumb is roughly (members * 17) if you think you're going to win most of your matches, which would be just over 20k for you.

Try the stadium sizer, it's pretty established and works well.

my worst start to a one day season with none from 2 and in last spot. Terrible start its killing me.

Fabian 1 (9 balls)

Last Wicket: Woolf c. Sutton b. Woods 16 (FOW: 42/4)

Cruising on a TIE with a nice opening spell from Woods - now to see if Prutton can improve on his debut figures of 4/6.

A nobody team scoring ridiculously quickly against my phenomenal seam:

End of Over 15: 83-4, runrate=5.53
Summers 8-2-40-1
Osborn* 23 (24 balls)
Bucknell 9 (9 balls)

Last Wicket: Stock lbw b. Patel 5 (FOW: 58/4)

What bollocks.

But a couple more wickets and it's end of innings.

Won by 8 wickets chasing 230 odd, Bertos made an unbeaten century and Faulds 96 not out.

Srilies v Jaffna Jets

Srilies 9/263(50)
Priyantha 3/48(10), Obeysekera 3/51(10), Punchibanda 2/48(10)

Jaffna Jets 3/264(38.2)
Lucas 117(95), Gunatilleke 101(106)

Easy win in the end, might play Jeithoon next time we play these guys.

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
Got bloody ambushed by a team I thought was a lot worse than mine. OD season looks to be basically shot to pieces.

Going to focus on FC now.

Playing the demotee into my league, and am doing well:

End of Over 21: 60-8, runrate=2.86
Marriott 4-0-13-0
Thornley* 24 (48 balls)
Supple 15 (28 balls)
Last Wicket: Zammit b. Piercy 1 (FOW: 29/8)

Can't believe the 9th wicket has held out for 30 runs, but hey. Wouldn't like them to get too many more as his bowling is much better than his batting.

Ah, actually it looks like he's playing some of his better bats well down the order. Weird.

Prutton 9-2-29-2
Belle* 5 (5 balls)
Fabian 33 (60 balls)

Last Wicket: Sneath b. Talbot 0 (FOW: 98/8)

Decent from Prutton, although he took a bit of tap in his last over. Bowling all 10 straight through so probably tiring a bit.
