State Vice-Captain
This should be over by tomorrow, giving my team an extra day's rest before my crunch game against Fambridge on Friday.

Birchwood CC: 119 (61.3) Woods 7/35 (15.3)
The Heath CC: 311/0 (48) Caldwell 157* (157), Bartlett 142 (135)

I'll declare at 360 tomorrow, which should give me about 100 overs to bowl them out second time round.

BARNES OUT
Okay, it's only recently dawned on me that my two best bowlers are both defensive. Now I want to get rid of one of them and upgrade to a similar quality of bowler but attacking or destructive, but I'm not really sure which one. Some have suggested selling both and bringing in a top class all-rounder (Like Charlie Allen). What do you think I should do? (This isn't what they currently are btw, this is what they'll be at the end of the season).

Code:
Deepak Lambert - 20 yo, BT Rating=52,458
RH Batsman, LM Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, energetic
A defensive player with feeble leadership skills and feeble experience.
Stamina: proficient Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: competent Concentration: feeble
Bowling: exceptional	Consistency: wonderful
Fielding: strong
Code:
Tony Sambrook - 21 yo, BT Rating=44,741
RH Batsman, RH Spin Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, energetic
A defensive player with competent leadership skills and feeble experience.
Stamina: competent Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: mediocre Concentration: abysmal
Bowling: wonderful Consistency: wonderful
Fielding: competent
Was obviously leaning towards Sambrook due to being inferior, but I'm starting to entertain the selling of both of them a little. What are people's experiences with defensive bowlers? Both have good averages but such poor records against teams who are any good. They just seem to get blunted by decent batsmen.

Oh well. Maybe should have played another bowler. 2 days gates is enough anyway, only need to make 120k in my OD to break even. Easy.

The experience? The team you're playing is fair and away better than you, there is no shame in getting smashed by him. If you train your players right, you will be doing that to other teams one day.
