Dynamo Morpork 248-4 (57)
Virk 122*, Lewis 45*, James 42, Herbert 1.

Shaka took captaincy seriously today. Saved by Nigel Lewis, whose career HS is 88 from six seasons ago, when he opened the batting.

Think I'll just bat till I get bowled out or (not particularly probable) make 500, which I doubt; economic considerations trump PFL at this stage with all the muppets I'm playing in FC, and handing Canton three bonus points might motivate them before they're playing Bosstones next week.

Pathetic effort by my batsmen this morning. 10 runs for five wickets. Miss a lot of bowling points.

Cruising against the number 1 team in my league. If I didn't have such a ******** captain(I apparently didn't set a declare total for my second innings against a bot and ended with a draw) I'd be first in my league after this game.

End of Over 46 (4 runs). Male Models: 239-1, runrate=5.20
Lead by 26 runs. (Willunga 213-10)
Casey 17-1-74-1
Foyle* 113 (142 balls)
Malik 67 (90 balls)
Last Wicket: Kilkenny c. Warne b. Casey 41 (FOW: 91/1)

Carruthers 77 (131 balls)

Need some wickets here...

Trail by 281 runs. (UTS Engineering 481-2 dec)
Mcallister 17-4-46-2
Attwood* 10 (7 balls)
Dove 67 (83 balls)

Should at least reach that total, as Dove should make 150odd now that he's in.

End of Over 109 (7 runs). Four Pillars and Poor Fillers: 676-4, runrate=6.20
Lead by 476 runs. (Flexibles 200-10)

Verde*	41 (46 balls)
Hiller	211 (185 balls)
Last Wicket: Xingwana lbw b. Baker 70 (FOW: 600/4)
Declaration set at 800, maybe a bit too much, but should ensure a 3rd day.

Good news for Poke is, Hodge only took 18, so if he takes 9, he wins :p

NZTailender

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
End of Over 5 (Maiden). lhiggi: 5-0, runrate=1.00
Trail by 703 runs. (Tawonga Tigers 708-10)
Fletcher 3-2-1-0
Boffy* 4 (13 balls)
Nixon 0 (17 balls)

I spose that total is okay for my second XI, but I was expecting more. Oh well. Mcmahon ended up getting a double century, which was nice as he missed out on one a week back (against better opposition too).

Annoyed that we haven't taken a wicket yet tbh.

Hiller*	277 (250 balls)
Verde	91 (119 balls)
Last Wicket: Xingwana lbw b. Baker 70 (FOW: 600/4)
Should have set the declaration to 850, they will both fall short.

EDIT:

The players are off the field for the change of innings.

End of Over 133 (10 runs). Four Pillars and Poor Fillers: 802-4, runrate=6.03
Lead by 602 runs. (Flexibles 200-10)

Verde* 94 (120 balls)
Hiller 284 (255 balls)
Last Wicket: Xingwana lbw b. Baker 70 (FOW: 600/4)

****, i accidently set Poke as captain, if it was Hiller, he would have kept it going.

10.3 W Poke to Campbell
Campbell misses the ball completely and it hits the pads. Big appeal and he's given! It looked like it pitched outside leg but TV replays show it pitched on leg stump. Fantastic umpiring.

Poke moves to 11 of 11. Aiming for at least 19.

Roosters CC v Jaffna Jets: Jaffna Jets won by an innings and 260 runs

First Innings of: Roosters CC 55 All Out
Willetts 5/8(8), Sishayi 3/7(4.4)

First Innings of: Jaffna Jets 1d/371
Quintin 201*(191), Clayton 152(161)

Second Innings of: Roosters CC 56 All Out
Willetts 5/0(5), Matharu 4/16(10.3)

Over inside 120 overs. Pretty much two days rest, whilst Nibbs looks like his trying to get his FC game to go to 3 days. Another fairly easy OD league match to come where I will rest Quintin and Clayton. Not sure if I will rest Sishayi and Willetts though. I'll probably give one of them a match.

I'll probably declare overnight, but at this stage it looks like being a draw seeing as their pitch is an absolute road.

I'm going to declare overnight at 7/627. Everybody managed to get at least 20 runs, including my abysmal who got 45 and a worthless who got 25.

Set all of my bowlers to aggressive hoping to wrap it up before lunch.

Not doing great this morning as Kepler went for 40 and Gibson soon followed for 3. What's really annoying is that we haven't lost a wicket to either of their two good bowlers yet - we've lost all five to players who are on a par or slightly better than my batsmen (except for Kepler).

End of Over 47 (Maiden). The Heath CC: 104-5, runrate=2.21
