Good recovery given that I was 2/2 after the first over, if Dove and Brown can both go on to make centuries i'm looking at a total somewhere around 350

End of Over 19 (7 runs). Tawonga Tigers: 142-0, runrate=7.47
Lead by 133 runs. (lhiggi 9-10)
Donnelly 8-0-44-0
Stannage* 71 (52 balls)
Rhodes 65 (63 balls)

Edit: yeah, I am. My competent bowler Fletcher took 6-6 with Bennie getting the other 4.

Partnership is now 229 runs, and from here I should get to 400 minimum for the first innings.

Forgot to rest a fatigued Elmes who was out second over. After that it was smooth sailing, Hetherington made 130 and Walsh is on 159* and Mccoy 107* at 2-420.

I think I might be too...bowled them out for 28 and am currently 157-1 @ 7.48 per over. Could have finished this today...but I'd like to score 2000 if possible

I have 5 fill-ins playing, so it's probably doubtful.

Haha. Playing a second string team, with all batsmen and bowlers on very attacking, and I managed to make triple figures and take 3 early wickets.

Meyer, Groves & Walton did the damage with the ball, taking 3 each. Stroud and Orourke looking the goods to set a platform for a big total so i won't have to bat twice.

I'm hoping I can finish them off this afternoon and bat most of tomorrow. He doesn't seem to have a very strong bowling lineup, but I don't have a strong batting lineup either.

Playing a whole team of turd backup players and getting duly whipped:

End of Over 38 (2 runs). Boggles: 90-4, runrate=2.37
Bradford 10-4-18-0
Hughes* 10 (45 balls)
Rampaul 42 (107 balls)

Last Wicket: Tennekoon c. Gittens b. Singh lali 0 (FOW: 61/4)

Decided to focus on OD as I'm good for getting back into the Ranji if I focus on it. Thus FC shall be an interesting time, hanging on for dear life to try to stretch games out to 3 days.

Pissed off about the declaration, if only there were an option to 'declare at stumps' instead of choosing a hypothetical number of runs. If i'd known that I'd reach 500 with 20 overs to spare I would have entered a higher total as the declaration target.

A lead of 544 at the end of the first day...hopefully these two can push on and make big scores. They're the last of my really good batsman...the only two I have really. I'd like to bat all day tomorrow if possible.

Extras were the highest scorer for my bot opposition.

Finished the day at 2-295, 183 runs ahead after dismissing the opposition for 112. Stroud (112) & Orourke (77) the 2 men out.

Hard to know what's best really; you're overpaying about 6k per week in upkeep, whereas it'd cost about 120k to fix your stadium to where you wanted it. So that's 20 weeks before the fix saves you money, and that's not even taking into account the fact that you'll want those seats at some point in the future. I'd say given your current solid situation, just suck it up and slowly upgrade it towards the proper proportions without demolishing anything. On the other hand if you're in any danger of getting promoted soon, and thus having a tricky season, it could rapidly become a bit of a millstone. Still think keep it, though.
Ah that's not so bad then. I'm not in any danger of promoting - I thought I'd be relegating in one or both leagues actually but am exceeding expectation so far. There are far better teams in both my leagues though who willl thrash me and should promote easily.

Thanks for your help DB :)

Lost the toss and am bowling, which means it'll be a long day ahead, and that they'll probably stretch it out to three days as well, as they don't seem to like enforcing the follow on. Not only am I going to lose, I won't even get to save any PFL. :@
