With two wins from the 4 games i guess im threw to the next stage. Was a good game for our boys. Tryed out the YP in Forbes and did pretty good just a little slow on the stamina.

Im not 100% on the training, so what improves stamina? and for someone to improve do they have to have a training slot allocated to them? or does the whole team receive training for stamina?

You can only improve stamina by allocating a fitness training slot to the player you want to improve.

Does Stamina really matter in ODs, i think fitness is more important
Umm yeah, it does, a lot. It won't in div V, but it does matter. Anything feeble+ is OK generally. Team fitness has a greater short term effect, but if you neglect stamina training you're going to be screwed in a season or two.

College Dropouts (273a.o. from 48, Jaysuriya 68, Mills 6/32) were defeated by Robertinho Select XI (4/275 from 44.5, Arnison 95, Knight 86) by 6 wickets.

Pretty good effort, though the bowling was disappointing. Hignett was most disappointing (10-0-64-0) - Wolfenden is excused as he's not meant to even be a bowler.. :-O

(@ Got Spin) An easy way to see the effects of different attributes on performance is to look at the players on the transfer market. Look at this guy for example:

Code:
7. Benjamin Tranter £357,001 (FT United)
Plays for: Burnie Yoeman Stamina:	abysmal W/Keeping:	worthless
Age: 21 years old Batting:	feeble Concentration:	respectable
BT Rating: 10,139 Bowling:	respectable Consistency:	competent
Deadline: 27/11/2005 8:18 Fielding:	feeble
Decent primaries and secondaries, but he averages 13 with the bat and 83 with the ball, over a span of 30 matches. I can't think of any possible reason for this other than his abysmal stamina; basically with that stamina it means he might start his spell as a respectable bowler (in the match engine), but will probably drop to mediocre after a few overs, and if he bowls his ten overs straight out, he'll probably be woeful or something by the end. This should be even more obvious in the FC matches.

one of my friends batsmen got out by obstructing the fielder, never seen that before
What's the match ID (or the name of your friend's team)? I want to see what the commentary says.

Thanks. Here's the commentary:

32.6 W Ramsay to Shotton-oza
Gosh! He just took the fielder out there as he went for the catch. And he's been given out. I suppose that must be for interfering with the

It cuts out there and I can't see any more commentary after that for some reason.

Guys, maybe we should get someone (like Adam, I mean, let's be honest, he loves it) to keep track of all our bowling and batting stats for this tournament? Or one person per group? Or I guess we could trust individuals to do their own... :p

Heh, well I can't argue with that, but since I'm not involved in the CW Cup I can't really find the motivation, sorry. :)

I changed my tactics last night and forgot to change my opening bowlers about so I'm opening with a spinner against Marc.

Though my other dude has just taken 2 wickets in 3 ball. :)
