Nice win today, batted first and scored 247, Drummond and Carless getting the runs before their gun bowler came back and helped skittled the last 8 for 13. Bowled them out for much
less than I thought I would, 79, with Rahimuddin taking 4 wickets.

I'll TIE next week against the team I have no chance against, then GFI on of the next two against teams I can beat.

gutted, when Webster started going mental i thought i might sneak it. Seems worse getting close than if id been rolled for under 200

So their lot got 299-3 before losing 7 wickets for 5. Lancashire got to 276-3 before losing 7 wickets for 2. Yet Allan goes on like these events are reasonably normal...

Seems like a gun match but quite unrealistic.

looking at the ratinngs it would have been a bit of a travesty if i'd have won tbh. Looks like he GFI'd though, his ratings were up on last week. Just realised the guy is the one who made that spreadsheet thingamagig

member confidence drops two levels on the back of my first league loss of the season, fairweather fans eh?

So far this season in the league and cup I've lost 70 wickets for 775 runs at an average of 110.71 per match. If you take out my 297 against a bot in the first round of the cup it's 478 at 79.66.

Highlights include getting rolled for 29 and 30. I haven't made over 100 in a competitive match since the 2nd round of the league. What'd they do to the match engine? :(

Well it seems like most of the bowling >>>>>> your batting. Changing your pitch to hard and fast or the like might avoid you being skittled for so little, but if there's like strong rated bowling against your mediocre/feeble rated batting it's never going to be pretty.

Insane performance from Whitehorne won the match for my by 9 runs. Scored 55 on the way to a team total of 263 (Ashton 105, Cuss 59), and went wicketless in his first 5 over spell. Came back on in the last 10 and took 8-20 (8-35 in total). My opponent forgot to include his second-best bowler in the lineup so I probably would've lost otherwise, meh.

Sheesh another Hard and Fast and another couple of daft collapses mirroring each other quite closely (dave's game had 3 hat-tricks, your's isn't far off with the clutches of wickets in a few balls).

You gonna be around for the next Q&A? Need someone to keep pestering Allan about these stupid collapses... hopefully he'll realise they're wrong eventually just like the wides counting to number of balls faced was wrong.

We should make a list of all these collapses. Here's two, anyway...

Flat (blkbeauties vs Anchormen) - [matchid=592176]
Hard and Fast (UFC CCC vs Lancashire) - [matchid=611842]

Edit - haha, looks like NorCricket has it in the bag, their lead insurmountable at this stage:
Code:
[size=2] Team Pld Won Tie Lost Points Net RR
1. NorCricket United 9 9 0 0 36 12.97
2. Doobie Bombers 6 5 0 1 20 6.87
3. Borderliners 6 4 0 2 16 4.03
4. Saint Barth Blondes 6 3 0 3 12 2.80
5. Pebble Street CC 7 2 0 5 8 -1.62
6. Asterix XI 6 2 0 4 8 -4.86
7. Rovers Town 8 1 0 7 4 -9.33
8. Knuckleheads 6 1 0 5 4 -10.87[/size]

There's no doubt their teams are all better than mine, but I've played teams like that before and never been rolled for that little runs that often. I'm just ****ed because I'm already losing members. :@
