I didn't say they wouldn't make into my team, they'd all make it in on any single one of their primaries, just Malik wouldn't be my best player. :p
I thought you meant that Malik wouldn't make it into your team as a batsman. But yeah , likewise, they could step into my team for any discipline and be my best, barring Malik's batting.

If that isn't a show of power, I don't know what is. Unlike PY, I can safely say that they would definitely make it into my team for any discipline (of course excluding keeping). Malik would actually probably be in my top 4-5 batsmen, too.

Out of interest, what nets are Whitehorne & Watkins getting?
Both 1 bat, 1 bowl at the moment.

Jets Season in Review

Well another fairly successful season has past and Jets once have once again reached our objectives. After getting promoted from Divison Four, my main goal this season was a top four finish and we achieved that and more with equal 2nd spot. I saw this season as more of building season where i could see where my team is at and how best to improve it so we could reach the top leagues in Sri Lanka. For me our side is forming nicely with the new players in my side starting to take over from the older guys that guided us to promation last season. Here are my top performers from this year:

Marc Ferrier: 933 runs @ 116.6 (4 100s)
Phil Nurse: 743 runs @ 74.3 (2 100s)
Kavith Priyantha: 38 wkts @13.1 (4 5wh)
Inoka Rangana: 22 wkts @ 12.7 (1 5wh)

Both Ferrier and Nurse were brought at the back end of last season and have formed a very successful opening combination, averaging over 80 when opening the batting together. At the start of the season my batting line up was collasping when we came up against good bowling attack, as DCYE can tell you when Hodge ran through us. But at the back end of the season they were holding their own and scoring some decent totals against good bowling attacks and hopefully that will continue next season. Next season i will be requiring a lot more from Ellis and Clayton (both proficient), who showed signs of promise last season, but haven't yet truelly delivered.

Bowling wise, it was only at the back end of the season that my new recuits Dowdall (proficient) and Baptiste (former Astertix player) started to find their feet and take over from my old boys. Rangana got dropped at the end of the season, but we hardly missed, which is a good sign. Next season i will be putting a lot of faith in my all rounder Sasrutha Muralitharan (respectable/respectable), to lead my bowling attack, as he should be my best bowler by the half way point.

Looking at the the new teams in my league, it looks like this season will again be a three horse race, so if i can get my top order up to respectable (like it was against Roseboy) and my spin bowling up to competent plus i should be a good bet for the title, but we will have to wait and see.

I don't care who I play really, team is Boggles & I'll check for challenges in 45 mins or 11 hours time if anyone fancies it.

Zebras are open for any offers, but come with a disclaimer that the home team cannot be held liable if they are bowled out in less than 20 overs.

Challenged you Andy as everyone else appears to have organised something.

Did it at your ground because both of them will be too early for me so no point being late for you too.
