Andy,
Sorry mate, I can't this weekend, as the friendly cup I play in is starting up. But with seven teams in my group, at some stage I'll have a spare Sunday, so I'll take you on then if you like? Providing you're not into the CW Cup by then.

I have considered defecting from the UK blind cricket BT Cup to the CW Cup, but to be honest, the teams in the Blind Cricket Cup are mostly the people who I play RL cricket against, so it's personal! Plus they all took the pss out of me last season, as with crap Stam and Morale, I got thrashed, but this season I'm going to make them beg for their Mammy's!

I'm probably the third favourites in the Cup, and I'm playing the second favourites on Sunday, so I'm resting most of my top players in the league tomorrow. It's a bit of a gamble, but TBH, I think I can probably get away with it. It's against a brand new team, and it looks as though the manager hasn't logged on since Sunday, so I doubt he's set up sensible orders or anything. They haven't bought anyone in, and looking at their squad, they have someone on the Resp/Prof borderline, another who's Comp/Resp, and a third middling Comp, with everyone else Med or worse. But as they haven't played any games, it's impossible to tell in what discipline those skills are. The Gurs team I'm putting out has a top seven of Comp, Resp, Prof, Resp, Comp, Comp, Med, and my bowling is Resp, Strong, Comp, Med, Comp. I'll keep an eye on his home page and check he doesn't log on or sign anyone, but I'm quietly confident that I'll be OK, though the match might actually be exciting for only the second time this season!

Later, Trev

I'm free for a friendly, will just be my second string side basically, doesn't matter if I'm away as I won't be around on Sunday anyway.

You're on Scaly. Which ground? Mine's only 17k, but my members are all as happy as they can get.

Just bought this guy for 15k, pretty happy with that. Mainly went for the destructive temperment, but will probably just get him up to respectable with semi-decent concentration.

Good win. Won by 10 wickets by scoring 300 runs in less than 40 overs.

Opened with Saunders instead of Mccammon which was good since i need to get his fitness up.

Only a hundred or two short of selling out, so now i almost have 600k. Looking to buy a strong bowler and still have 3 weeks to get one
