Graysuf popped to Feeble experience, I now see. His keeping has become awesome - took 3 catches and 2 stumpings yesterday - 28 catches & 6 stumpings in 19 matches over his whole career. This season, in 4 games, he has 13 dismissals (8 c, 5 st).

He's only competent, too, and I haven't been bot-bashing.

Edit - whoa, check this guy out, he's on the TM for 3mil

Must say I'm excited for this week's YP, as I'm using 35. Am hoping for a batting allrounder, but I have a sneaking suspicion I may end up with some mediocre/mediocre piece of crap.

Edit: 12 batting, 12 bowling, 9 stamina, 1 concentration, 1 consistency:

Gareth Baker (807202)
LH Batsman, LFM Bowler, respectable batting form, respectable bowling form, fresh
An attacking player with abysmal leadership skills and worthless experience.

Plays For: Magical Ponies
Nationality: Australia
Age: 17 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 2,734
Wages: £438 p/w
Stamina: feeble Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: mediocre Concentration: feeble
Bowling: mediocre Consistency: abysmal
Fielding: worthless

Accepted.

I have a bad team so it should be a easy win for you
I think i'm going TIE, i just need the money, so im not worried about the result. It should be intersting to see who is best at losing a match...

Surely that's the wrong way round?

Less time to train and all?

My prof wk has 68 c, 13 st in 37 games but he's slowing down lots because I'm not taking 10 wickets every game like I used to.

Have you taken 10 every game so far Rob?

What i mean, is that i will start putting money into my Academt for ITS points in order to make some nice youthies in the first few weeks of the season. ill also be after a new good trainee next season.

I thought that might be the case, i was wondering why i can't set it, i thought they just go with what you used in the last game.

Anyway with the result you have a respectable/proficent top order, you should win easy.

Ah right I get you, I'm thinking of doing some thing similar after this week actually because I've 6 players already that need training so a new one probably won't help matters much.

Yeah my nets are already full and unless its a respectable+ its not worth training and anything below that doesnt sell for enough money to cover the costs of the ITS

Very pleasing win for me yesterday, considering that my opponent slightly outrated me.

Asterix XI 341-4
Cuss 154 (138), Wynand 129 (135)

Borderliners 291/10 (47.4 overs)
Louis 4-49 (8.4), Ryan 2-78 (9), Watkins 1-39, Poole 1-41, Malik 1-65

Code:
	 [B] Asterix XI Borderliners[/B]
Top Order: strong strong
Middle Order: respectable respectable
Lower Order: woeful abysmal
Seam Bowling: proficient strong
Spin Bowling: respectable respectable
Fielding: feeble mediocre
Very happy with Wynand in particular, probably the first major innings he's played against good opposition. I set him to very attacking and it worked out well, particularly in the early overs (we got 129 off the first 15 I think). Setting the pitch to hard and fast worked as well, got to 299-0 then had a mini-collapse (well, three wickets in an over) which would have happened earlier on a bowler-friendly pitch.

Louis bowled well and the start and came back to clean up the tail, starting to perform to his ability now. Watkins did better than his figures suggest, had 7-1-20-1 at one stage and made the required rate too high for their batsmen to have a chance. New signing Poole did well, Malik was pretty rubbish, and Ryan got hammered but at least picked up some wickets.

Playing away against the top team next week, don't have a huge chance looking at their ratings on a TIE yesterday (remarkable top order, superb spin) though they only have competent seam. Think I still have a chance of winning though so I probably won't TIE, still got plenty of chances to do that in the cup anyway.
