So again has anyone trained a 17yo in batting or bowling combined with fielding? How long did they take to pop in concentration/consistency?
Sounds good Adam, I might just do that actually...I hear Strong's usually fetch a good price on the market.Adamc said:Well the good news is that he's a week or two at most from reaching strong batting, the bad news is that it will take 20-24 weeks of stamina training just to get him to mediocre, which IMO is a minimum if you intend to keep him for a long time. Personally I'd never buy someone with worthless stamina unless they're really good in other stats, it's just a complete waste of nets (for comparison you could use those 24 weeks of nets to get two primary pops instead). It will take ages for his stamina to reach a level where he's regularly scoring centuries against decent opposition, but since his primary is high you could consider training him for profit.
Nope, a waste in my opinion. Never buy players with anything below feeble stamina IMO, unless they have really good primaries & secondaries, and are going cheap.cricketboy29 said:Gerry Sam - 18 yo, BT Rating=5,652

Just bought this guy for 120K, what do you guys think?, value for money?
I think it is if you've got plenty of net space. A low proficient-woeful bat with woeful stamina would sell for over 120k normally and that's equivalent to this player in terms of how many nets it takes to get them to the same standard. 2 nets all season and you'll have a superb-feeble bat with feeble stamina, so about around 30 nets to increase the value from 120k to 800k or more - like I say it all depends on what your nets are like. If your nets are taken up by mediocres and competents then it's good, if your team is now at a stage where you're training a minimum of respectable then it's debatable.cricketboy29 said:Gerry Sam - 18 yo, BT Rating=5,652

Ive got two batting nets, and a one fielding net free. Though I'm training my two 18 yr old strong's, and my twenty yr old respectable.Scaly piscine said:I think it is if you've got plenty of net space.
