End of Over 10: 51-2, runrate=5.10
Butcher 5-0-35-2
Ford* 20 (22 balls)
Willetts 13 (23 balls)

Last Wicket: Attwood c. Chorley b. Butcher 0 (FOW: 19/2)

State of my game at current. They're 3rd in my league so I expected a bit of challenge.

Clinched my league by 20 points - 3rd in the promotion table.

Even made up for my incompetence in giving my star batsman the 5th bowler role ahead of the new signing!

End of Over 38: 164-10, runrate=4.32
Willingham 8-0-29-5
Simms* 39 (56 balls)

37.4 W Willingham to Ferry
In the air, and caught. Groves could have caught that with his back to the play. Ferry is clearly frustrated with himself.
37.3 W Willingham to Bryant
Oooooh, a spectacular diving catch by Weekes at second slip. His hands are softer than a baby's bottom.
37.2 . Willingham to Bryant
Full outside off stump, nudged gently into the covers, straight to Elton.
37.1 . Willingham to Bryant
That's a jolly good defensive shot into the ground. The ball swung in from a wonderful delivery by Willingham.

Putting up a decent fight against the current #1 in the Premier:

NorCricket United v Asterix XI

NorCricket United won the toss and elected to field.
Pitch: Slow

End of Over 38: 198-3, runrate=5.21
Lunt 9-1-39-0
Cuss* 116 (115 balls)
Malik 22 (55 balls)

Last Wicket: Ashton c. Persaud b. Peacock 7 (FOW: 110/3)

Malik is scoring stupidly slowly, but I can live with that if it means that Cuss doesn't run out of partners. I've only got three good bowlers today so it's unlikely that I'll be able to pull off a win, but it's an encouraging performance nonetheless (even though Cuss has basically done all the scoring...).

Yea, that's one of things I really don't like about Battrick, ultra attacking players scoring ridiculously slowly. If they're relatively crap then fine they might get out cheaply, but whatever happens they'll still score fast. Malik was on 24 off 63 before the last 10 - ridiculous.

International Regular
I handed out a thrashing to one of the teams, in my league, getting 382 in the fifty with Abdul Kadir duly getting his highest score of 206, and his maiden double century. Then bowled them out for 215.

Sad Decadent XI 382-2 Abdul kadir 206(142),Y Chanderpaul 80 (104), Hamed 77(61)
Black Nights 215 all out, M Chanderpaul 6-44

Finished 23rd on the promotion table:D, automatic qualification

NorCricket vs Asterix is hotting up.

Asterix 277/6 and NorCricket are 223/2 off 44 requiring 9.17 an over with Persaud 100* at the moment, could end up close!

Put the mockers on that one nicely.

Sorry Adam!

Persaud went from 91 off 109 to 143 off 134 to win NorCricket the game.

This is the team I'm going to be playing in my playoff. Based on what I've seen( if it was the right league) I should be able to compete in there.

Reknes Bat Rangers
Top Order: feeble
Middle Order: woeful
Lower Order: abysmal
Seam Bowling: abysmal
Spin Bowling: feeble

good day for me, managed to secure 4th place in my league on NRR, bowling first for the first time in a long time and chased it down with 20odd overs to spare.

If i'm in the red how long do i have to get out of it
Once you go under -350k you have a week or two to get out of it, so don't worry you've got a lot of time.

Not quite
ther'll be a promotion table
e.g. all the teams placed first in you division (ie IV)
If you're in the top half of said promotion table you'll be automatically promoted
if you're in the bottom half you'll need to play a playoff match against #5or6 in the division above you if you win that match you also get promoted

Having just had a look you're gonna need to do a playoff
