@Marc - A fair bit, 600k+. I've seen similar bowlers sell for anything from 500-900k lately. Saw a 19yo strong/med/med with med batting go for 969k yesterday, so his batting might be worth a little bit extra though his stamina might bring the price down.

Scaly, you realise better ratings = better team = better performance = 9/10 times that team will beat teams inferior to it?
You do realise one day games = very erratic = no team that's slightly better winning 14 straight like in Battrick

Still I hope FC cricket makes it all the more interesting - including one day games.

... What are you talking about? Do you think ratings are based on morale and team fitness, and have nothing to do on players? What the hell... do you live under a rock?

Ratings are firstly based on the players, and then are reduced/increased by morale and team fitness...
I said influenced so actually read what i say....So unfortunaly i do not live under a rock, fool. Someone mentioned that maximum TF and moral can cause ratings to go up by 5+ levels.

And no Adamc i did not mean that. I meant that say you have one superb in your middle order and the rest woeful. This means that your batting ratings will be crap but that one superb player can score a double century. Hence, ratings shouldn't mean anything.

Hmm well I disagree with you in that case, generally I find that if you have one good batsman you get a disproportionately high batting rating rather than a low one. I don't see why ratings 'shouldn't mean anything' - they're not supposed to account for what happens during the match, otherwise they'd just be a text version of the scorecard, making them completely redundant.

I have a superb batsmen in my middle order, with a competant and a couple mediocres- i get woeful middle order.

But they don't mean anything, and don't reflect the strength of teams.

If your woeful middle order consistently performs better than other teams with a higher middle order then you might have a point. I don't think it does though.

Meh sometimes, the middle order does rely on one batsmen and on occasions it has beaten a higher rated bowling attack. Can't check my records because my account is locked but im sure it has happend but not consistently obviously.

Dear Battricker,

This morning at the start of the Economic updates a bug has appeared and has
decided to lock every team in that country. Before the developers have been
able to do anything about it, this rampant beastie has locked all teams in
Australia, Sri Lanka, India and Pakistan. The other countries may follow.

We appreciate how frustrating this is and we hope that all will be fixed in
the quickest time possible.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience whilst
we get the site back running in order.

Best regards,

GM-johnberesford
