IMO, the guys with high secondaries should bat high (since they usually last longer at the crease). So I'd go Ajizal, Da Silva, Hodge, Senior, Cayton, wickie, A/R, four bowlers. As for bowling, I'd rate them Priyantha = Pushpakumara > Rangana > O'Neill = Luxman.

I take it that you think practically every manager in the Premiership is crap then, especially the likes of Wenger, Ferguson and Mourinho.

A better manager would be someone who despite all the shaftings still has a better team, more money and a better overall position than most who have managed for a similar length of time as far as Battrick is concerned. Unfortunately luck - or more precisely some of these bugs which act as levellers allow relatively crap managers to catch up or even in extreme circumstances surpass (for a while at least) the team and general position of a better manager's side.

Come to think of it, those three complain a hell of a lot don't they....

Hmmmm.... I think you've now officially got the worst starting team I've seen, taking the title from myself.

This is what I'd be looking at for a team:

Chadwick
Roach
Drummond+
Dancy
Potter

Oshea* (5)
Rhodes (3)
Hogg (2)
Illett (4)
Sabata (1)

I've no idea about number 6, cause you really don't want to be playing a batsman who's only woeful, so I'd recommend you go out and look for a cheap batsman for now until the end of the season (after which everyone will age). You'll be able to find a 20 odd mediocre batsman with decent secondaries and stamina fairly easily, and he should be under 10k. I've got Drummond keeping, because although he's only feeble, he can hold down a spot for now with his batting, and his good secondaries (which contribute to keeping) would help him as well. It's a pretty tough team to begin with, and I recommend saving up ITS (invest the maximum amount in youth academey on the Club Info page) until next season, and then making a good 17 year old allrounder.

My side wasn't much better when i started. If i was you i would just buy some cheap $1000 medicore 17yo and then train them up, then build from there. Thats what i did and apparently they are ok now.
