International Coach
Rampage from Chanderpaul!

40.6 1 Chanderpaul to Rampaul
Solid stroke down to long off, Singh fielding
40.5 1 Chanderpaul to Ahmed
Nice running, he always looks alert wanting the quick single.
40.4 1 Chanderpaul to Rampaul
Good shot from Rampaul for a single, thinner batsmen would have gotten two.
40.3 W Chanderpaul to Ghandi
Huge shout for LBW and it's given! I'm not convinced there wasn't a nick there, dubious decision in my opinion.
40.2 W Chanderpaul to Ghandi
He's behind you!!! No seriously, thin edge from Ghandi and Ahmed celebrates one of the easiest catches he'll take all season.
40.1 4 Chanderpaul to Ghandi
Short of a length, outside off, Ghandi neatly guides it away through the slips and gully gap.

Then:
42.6 W Chanderpaul to Bhutia
Bhutia looks to go after a short wide ball from Chanderpaul but gets a thick inside edge which sends the ball flying into his stumps
42.5 . Chanderpaul to Bhutia
Rather full outside off stump, drives and misses.
42.4 . Chanderpaul to Bhutia
Shortish, straight ball. Watchfully defended by Bhutia who gets right in behind it and plays it back to Chanderpaul with a straight bat.
42.3 W Chanderpaul to Karthikeyan
Edged and gone. He's walked before the umpire has raised his finger. That was a beauty.
42.2 W Chanderpaul to Ahmed
Superb catch behind by Ahmed
42.1 1 Chanderpaul to Ahmed
Smacked down to long off for the single.

Lol, was 12-3 in the 3rd over with this guy Gresham having taken 3-6 but have recovered to 76-3 after 19. The pitch is green and Gresham has now bowled his 10 out (3-27). I think he's this guy's only good bowler has wages of £2178 and a career average of 5.50 so im quite happy to see him off. OTOH Webster(39*) and Magloire(32*) are my last decent batsmen so hopefull they can take me most of the way. Pretty confident about defending anything over 200.

I was just wondering if some of you guys could just boost the price for one of my players by a grand or two. I have a friend who says he will buy him and pay up to 120k, so if you dont go past that your safe :) would be a great help if you could, im in debt and desperatly need the money :(

Finally bowled Birmingham CC out for 89 after their last wicket stand dragged on for 6 overs.

Oh and yea they're very close to popping, probably 2 weeks of one batting net would do it, maximum 3.

how much difference between having a proficient keeper and say a medicore keeper because my keep is a competant bat mediocre keep and i was wondering if its getting a proficiant keeper with abysmal batting or not?

Better keepers take more catches and conceed less byes, but ideally you want a keeper batsmen. Up to you

The better keeper will cut off byes and create more chances, especially with stumpings, at least from what I've seen when I got a better keeper. Also, apparantly we will be given the choice sometime to decide whether the keeper stands up or back to medium pacers, and obviously a keeper with good keeping skills will be able to stand up better.

Slightly weird ratings for me in my easy cup win:

Code:
 Scaly Piscine CC
Top Order: respectable
Middle Order: mediocre
Lower Order: abysmal
Seam Bowling: competent
Spin Bowling: useless
Fielding: competent
Compared to my league game two days ago:

Code:
 Scaly Piscine CC
Top Order: respectable
Middle Order: mediocre
Lower Order: abysmal
Seam Bowling: mediocre
Spin Bowling: useless
Fielding: competent

The weird thing is I TIED the cup game, everything else was the same as my league game (except morale would be 1 level higher), yet I got better ratings in the cup game.
