ok iv come to the decision im gona try n sell of my gun bats Jayasuriya n Z.Kennedy to hopefully trade up to an exceptional+ batsmen over the off season as they arent performing that highly in div 3 n iv stopped training them. Listed Jayasuriya for 3.75 mill n will list kennedy prob in a few days time so not to cluster the transfer market with the same kind of player.

Usmal Jayasuriya - 21 yo, BT Rating=30,835
LH Batsman, LF Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, sublime
A destructive player with feeble leadership skills and mediocre experience.
Stamina: proficient Wicket Keeping: abysmal
Batting: quality Concentration: superb
Bowling: abysmal Consistency: respectable
Fielding: mediocre

Hopefully i can get a decent enough price for them both.

They both average over 80 in your division, don't see what's wrong with that. Plus players go from crap one season to brilliant the next - look at Cuss. I would also advise against having a destructive open - they'll get out cheaply quite often.

I think you're mad to stop training Jayasuriya and Z Kennedy to a lesser degree. Jayasuriya is 21, that's only gonna add 4 weeks onto the training times when compared to a 17yo, with concentration popping about 2 weeks faster. If you gave two batting nets to a 17yo the second net would take 17 weeks on its own with no secondary training at all and I bet the 17yo wouldn't be quality-superb with proficient stamina either.

Looking at it from a purely financial viewpoint training a 21yo from quality to remarkable takes 15-16 weeks, you'll get at least 1 secondary pop and he has good stamina so you're increasing his value by about 1 million. So the return you're getting from that one net for 15-16 weeks works out at well over 60k per net - and the player will play better while he's in your team.

Yeah, I'd hang on to them. I'm going to be training Gray as a 21yo, and Johnston as a 22yo.
Yeah, what they said!

There's nothing wrong with training 21/22yos, as long as they're sufficiently highly-skilled to make it worth your while. I'd not even consider training a 21yo Prof these days, but a Quality is a different matter, esp. if his secondaries are good.

Look at it this way - Jayasuriya would be pushing Remarkable/Qual by the end of next season, and he'd then be a player who'll stay in your top/middle order for the next few seasons. If you can spare the nets, consider training him up to Wonderful - there still aren't many Wonderfuls around, remember.

I don't know about Kennedy, of course. Selling your two best batsmen (are they?) and getting just one überbatsman will be putting your eggs into one basket - you're likely to end up losing an awful lot of matches on bowler-friendly pitches.

Speaking of training 21 year olds, should i give Mccammon a batting net for next season?

Grady Mccammon - 20 yo, BT Rating=60,815
RH Batsman, RM Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, sublime
An attacking player with respectable leadership skills and feeble experience.
Stamina: strong Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: sensational Concentration: wonderful
Bowling: abysmal Consistency: abysmal
Fielding: abysmal

Depends on whether you can take the extra wages, which would be another 15k or thereabouts if you get him up to exquisite. Adam will have a better idea of that figure.

If you want to really maximise his uberness without much of a wage hit you could give him a fielding net I suppose.
