Hmm might be struggling to get much play by then given what's happened so far. I'm trusting you to work in some BT-collapse comments at some point.
Heh. Believe me, they already know. I may try to work in a few topical jibes if Harmy/etc. cleans up the Windies tail

News just in, unfortunately -- Allan's had to pull out :(

Fortunately, I've managed to shift his ticket on to one of the reserve list.

I didn't even realise the new season had started so got my ass kicked in the first two games of the season, but both of the teams used in those were completely pap and set up by the system, I have my new good batsmen in and spinner and also put in an actual bowling attack this time though so I'm hoping for better results today.

Both Dylan and Munroe got to their ton's at rollicking pace before getting out within 5 runs later. Annoying.

****. Lost a game that I really wanted to win. On the other hand, it was a big, big day for the Magical Ponies; Gavin Canning finally tonned up.

Magical Ponies 236 (47.3)
Canning 101 (74), Tedstone 80* (101), Griffin 24 (42)

The Vague Vagrants 4/239 (47.5)
Canning 1/31, Potgieter 1/45, Erasmus 1/52 (8.5)

The Vague Vagrants Magical Ponies
Top Order: strong competent
Middle Order: respectable strong
Lower Order: worthless woeful
Seam Bowling: superb quality
Spin Bowling: useless strong
Fielding: woeful woeful

Getting some nice looking ratings though, was on PAN. The Canning-Tedstone partnership saved me from embarrasment, and I really needed Terry to help kick on from there, but he was out first ball. Decent effort from Gavin though, especially given his SR.

Canning - worst conversion rate on CW? Discuss

Also, you lost a match you were really hoping to lose...any reason to swear?

Haha. Meant win tbh, will edit it. And with Canning, a lot of his 50s were not outs given that he bats fairly low. The fact that he did score 100 just shows how **** my batting is.

Well, interesting game today!

Had my opposition 2 down for 0 runs, then they were 203/2 and collapsed to all out for 210....

Will probably still lose but it certainly made me double take.
