Sweeney is coming towards the end of his training regime. One of the better youth pulls to come through the Whenuapai system. Looking back, I can only imagine how he would have turned out had he had a second bowling net, even if only for his first season or two. Anyhow, I'm expecting him to be a Remarkable/Superb within the next few weeks. From there I'm aiming to get his stamina up to proficient before the end of next season, in the hope that he will be able to one day matches and FC cricket, should it ever happen, without any major fuss.
Steven Sweeney - 21 yo, BT Rating=29,711
RH Batsman, RF Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, energetic
A destructive player with mediocre leadership skills and feeble experience.
Stamina: competent Wicket Keeping: abysmal

Will be selling Rich later in the week if anybody is interested. Starting price will be £1.75mil, but I am expecting it to go up and beyond 2mil. Would prefer him to sell for enough to enable me to buy a decent batting replacement. At least this move secures the immediate future of one of my only three remaining foundation players, Tony Wheat.
Steven Rich - 17 yo, BT Rating=11,755
RH Batsman, RFM Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, sublime
A cautious player with abysmal leadership skills and abysmal experience.
Stamina: respectable Wicket Keeping: respectable
Batting: proficient Concentration: competent
Bowling: worthless Consistency: worthless
Fielding: worthless
My side now has a massive £8.4mil in the bank. Noone has listed the type of batsmen I want yet so I've been sitting on this for almost a week now. When Rich goes I'll have £10+ mil so I sure hope something comes along feely quickly or I could find my sides season falling to pieces around us. For now I'm aiming to consolidate my position in II.4, hopefully with a push towards promotion next season.
