I expected to get you out for under 100, but when you started to hit me around, i kinda wanted to see Parr get to his 100, disappointed he was only a few runs short

Coasting along pretty comfortably, looks like I'll be up against NorCricket in the semi.

End of Over 29: 146-1, runrate=5.03, reqrunrate=3.90 (227-10)
Sohail 8-2-36-0
Cuss* 52 (59 balls)
Whitehorne 87 (108 balls)
Last Wicket: Ashton c. Bissell b. Beadle 6 (FOW: 12/1)

Opened the batting with Whitehorne for a change so I could push Watkins down one spot further as I wanted to save his PFL. Whitehorne took four wickets, Watkins two, Crawford two and Harewood one.

Interesting match against the Zebras, a bit one sided.

Zebras 112 All Out Cattermole 32(61), Ahmed 34(46), Hitish 22(30), Jeithoon 4/12(5), Muralitharan 2/3(5), Sisk 2/44(10)

lost to

Jaffna Jets 1/113(18.2) Clayton 48*(49), Ellis 48*(45), Ghandi 1/44(5)

Looking at the ratings it seem George went full strength. 2nd time in three weeks i'll rolled a half decent batting line up under 150. Jeithoon having his best ever game, hopefully its a sign of things to come. The wicket of Pak(i) early was the key, was really looking forward to their battle. The rest if the bowlers just cashed in on the tail really.

Thanks match George
I was almost full strength: I messed around with the batting order a bit, using Ghandi as a pinch-hitter and opening with Paky, which backfired badly. Normally I shelter him behind two reliable bats at number three. I was also missing Subasinghe, my main strike bowler, but it was still a comprehensive defeat. TBH I wouldn't call my batting 'half decent' either, seeing as it basically rests on the back of Paky.

Big day for Whenuapai CC today in our cup match against Oregon Whiffers Squad. At this stage I think we're favourite, at least, BTNZ has me paying $1.45 which many users have jumped on. But after saturdays disgraceful effort, I don't really know what to expect. The pitch will be uneven, and I will take 3 spinners into the battle. My 6th choice bowler is a respectable/feeble RF, but he hasn't been the player he once was for quite some time, so the spinning option seems like the best choice at this stage. I intend to sell my 3rd spinner, Patterson, when he reaches superb bowling a couple of weeks time, for what should be a 1mil profit. Anyhow, my opponents best bowlers are spinners, so it should be an interesting contest. I have a clear edge in the batting department which hopefully will give me the advantage I need to secure victory. Victory will put me into the last 16 for the second time. Over the past 4 seasons we've been knocked out at this stage 3 times, so it is something I really don't want see become the norm.

The BTR doesn't change until the next training update as SP says - so even though their form will read worthless/worthless, the BTR will display as though it were superb/superb (or whatever they were on).
Hmm - I was fairly sure they've been through an update by now, but I'll pay attention tomorrow morning in that case. Presumably that'll be the clincher? I assume bot teams still get training updates if their owner had nets set.

Anyway, easily beat some random today, which was pretty dull. Anyone up for a friendly next week?

Finally. I stuffed up my nets and Viduka didn't get a bowling net, instead Seneviratne got 2. I'm pretty sure Viduka will be strong next week.

after an excellent bowling display from my boys, we're chasing 129 for victory. it was going along great guns until duggan, was just removed by some faggy 8,000 btr medium bowler. we're 38/2 after 6. lennon and waddell in at the moment. my opponent hasn't used his two pretty decent spin bowling options yet either, so i'm concerned that we're set to lose.

lennon falls to their gun spinners first ball, 73/3 in the 12th over. hamshaw in. after him, we gradually fall away. come on boys. hang in, for ****s sake, only 51 to win

edit: actually chasing 124, not 129 as originally mentioned
