what kind of bat can you get with 7.5m?

The really good players done seem to be around much.

Actually looks like he's been trained once, maybe twice - the BTR has gone up nearly 800 from the old transfer listed figures.

As for bats it depends on patience and luck, you should be able to get exceptional+ for that money.

Obviously there's this guy listed at 7m:

Marvin Bertos (322964)
RH Batsman, RH Spin Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, fresh
A cautious player with superb leadership skills and woeful experience.

Plays For: Team Mullet
Nationality: New Zealand
Age: 21 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 106,390
Wages: £27,919 p/w

Stamina: respectable Wicket Keeping: abysmal
Batting: exceptional Concentration: masterful
Bowling: abysmal Consistency: superb
Fielding: superb

He's fairly low maintenance. Could easily keep a batting net on him if you wanted more. Could hold out for better obviously.

Would i get better for that kind of money?

EDIT: well i let him go in the end, not sure what i'll do with the money. I just couldnt be bother using so many nets on him.

If you're lucky you might get better, but then you could wait for the perfect bargain for months and not find it. Most people won't bother taking much notice of 21, but being 21 instead of 22 or 23 is quite an added bonus really. It also means you could train them up to sensational/exquisite whatever without going to elite + 1 or something concentration (the 'elite' puts people off usually).

I stayed up late last night to make myself a logo - it's about bloody time I had one!

What do you think? I couldn't quite get the embossed effect, unfortunately.

I might go back and pick the seam a little :p

Edit: Changed it a bit during my lunch break

Pretty much at or near the bottom of all the sublevels generally speaking.

Nice, reflects how the ball stays in a good condition when used against your batting lineup.

*grin*

I've instructed Sandwith and Reed to stop tonking it around, and instead nurdle it through the gaps. Reminiscent of the way Graham Thorpe plays, in fact.

I've not seen that bit of commentary for ages, actually. I wonder if it's been removed?

I think they might have removed all the commentary that had references to real life cricketers and that sort of thing a while ago, can't remember for sure.

Should be looking at between 1.2m and 1.5m I reckon, go for high-end reserves if you've got the patience obviously.

Can't wait till my game with Dwyer tbh to give me a test.

He is on par with me in terms of League rankings and it should provide me with some quality oppisition that I have not been getting in my league matches.
